California BBS-Legislative Breakfast

The Legislative Breakfast will be a follow-up to the Summit, where Legislator's can begin to work on support Programs and Services, which target Reentry-Recidivism.

We want to ensure that, Programs and Services directed at Reentry, take into account that Blacks and Latino’s make up 2/3’s of the Nations Prison Population and there must be inclusion of Culturally Relevant Programs and Services to address Recidivism effectively.

Federal and State Plans to combat Recidivism, that do not take into consideration the Demographics of the Prison Population, when formulating those Plans, will fall short of expectations and continue to fail.

The Legislative Breakfast is scheduled for August 3rd in Sacramento from 8:00 AM- 11:00 AM.
